- Open Boldbeast Recorder, tap the item "Call Settings - Fix Recording Issues - Install CallRecordingFix Module", it will display the folder name in which the CallRecordingFix module is saved.
- Open Magisk Manager, tap the top-left icon, tap Modules, tap the bottom-center "+" icon to install the CallRecordingFix module.
- Power off then power on the phone.

Use these settings to record calls:
- Record Mode: 1
- Fix Recording Issues - Tune Audio Route: Group1
Now you should get crystal clear call recordings.

Without root there is no solution on the whole market unfortunately.

Hey, thanks for you quick answer. I went through all three steps but the reason was different: I disabled and enabled again root options and it started working - still using Alsa device. :)

I have the same problem on my Moto One Zoom. It just stopped recording. Notification: "Recording failed, please change "Alsa Device" in settings and try again. But at first, you must disable OK Google...."

Did that but it didn't help.

Galaxy S8+, Android v9

According to the main page of your website, in Russia Google allows call recording and device root is not needed.
Inspired by that  (I bought the phone in Russia and use it here) I am trying to set up your recorder.

The old (for Android v7) recommended settings I found in this thread are:
- Record Mode: 1 or 5
- Tune Audio Effect: No
- Tune Audio Route: Group3
- Tune Samsung1: Yes
- Tune Samsung2: Yes
- Tune Samsung3: No

Are some changes for Android 9 ?

Without root if you switch on the speaker, the caller's voice is loud in the room, the recorder will record both your voice and the caller's voice from the microphone. Generally the recordings are good.

If you switch on the speaker, and you are using a bluetooth headset or a wired headset, the caller's voice may be very weak in recordings because the microphone in the headset is far from the speaker.
