The call recording feature of Nexus 4 is disabled by LGE, no recorder works well without root. So please root your phone to let the app fix the problem.

Thanks to Rowan Moore, he shared with us following settings for LGE Nexus 4 Android 5.0.1:

- Record Mode: 1
- Tune Audio Route: No
- Change Audio Controls: Yes
- Change Audio Driver: No
- Start Input Stream: Yes

These settings work well.

Boldbeast Recorder V7.5 is released, please install the new version, bluetooth works well now. Suggested settings:

- Record Mode: 22, 23 or 1
- Tune Audio Route: Group1 or Group3
- Change Audio Controls: Yes
- Change Audio Driver: Yes
- Start Input Stream: Yes

Now earpiece, speaker, wired headset and bluetooth all work well.

Please install Boldbeast Recorder V7.2 or newer versions. Root your LGE Nexus 4 phone, use following settings to record calls:
- Record Mode: 22 or 23
- Tune Audio Route: No
- Change Audio Controls: Yes
- Change Audio Driver: Yes
- Start Input Stream: No

Or use following settings to  record calls:
- Record Mode: 1
- Tune Audio Route: No
- Change Audio Controls: Yes
- Change Audio Driver: No
- Start Input Stream: Yes

The app works great for LGE Nexus 4 Android 4.2, 4.3, 4.4 and 5.0 Lollipop, recordings are clear and loud in two sides.

Does it work? If it still doesn't work please click the "Call Settings - Fix Recording Issues - Ask New Parameters" item in Boldbeast Recorder to send hardware log files to us, let us have a look at them. Thanks.
