Hi.
first, thanks a lot for finally providing a working call recording solution for my LGE Nexus 4.

this is my settings:
- Record Mode: 22 (or 23, tried both)
- Tune Special: No (or yes, tried both)
- Change Audio Controls: Yes
- Change Audio Driver: Yes
- Start Input Stream: No

when I plug in headset, and make a call, WITHOUT recording, it works fine.
The moment I start recording: I can't hear anything in the headset.
even when I hang up and make other calls without recording.
meaning: can't use headset to make a call unless I restart the phone, and then it works again (but pressing the record button again breaks the headset audio)

is there a solution? thanks

It seems there is no good solution for the headset problem at this moment.

we are talking about regular headset, right? not bluetooth headset

Yes, we are talking about regular headset.

I guess your Nexus 4 has Android 4.4.4 inside, it has too many limits in the ROM. It seems all other recorders can't record calls in two directions even with root. Boldbeast can record calls in two directions with root, but can't route the audio to the headset.

Nexus 4 Android 5.0 has less limits in the ROM, in theory it doesn't has this problem.

you're correct. 4.4.4 is my version.
you're app is outstanding, only 1 other app can record 2 way but it's very expensive (it works, however, with headsets).
anyway, thanks a lot for clearing this up. I tried to search but didn't see a thread about non BT headset.

================
Please update to Boldbeast Recorder V7.5 or newer versions, now the app records calls well for all of earpiece, speaker, bluetooth and wired headset on Nexus 4.
