Hi. Does it work in Samsung Galaxy A50?
Thank you

Samsung Galaxy A50 is running Android 9. Like other Samsung Android 9 phones, this phone works good in some countries, just install Boldbeast Recorder and go. However, in some countries it can't record the caller's voice, no matter what recorder you are using. In this case you should root the phone, then Boldbeast Recorder can fix it perfectly.

Users reported following information:

SM-A505F  needs no root in India, Egypt, Morocco.
SM-A505FN  needs no root in Italy

I solved a problem. No root needed. Few words abot my way.

For my samsung a50 (a505fm, 6/128, Russia) it worked in android 9, but using speakerphone (boldbeast recorder catch both caller's and my voices via microphone).
After automatic update to android 10, I have lost all. all boldbeast new call records got no sounds.
I was ready to root. Bad way, but it has no other choice.

But decision is to use special software "Odin". No root. The phone remains clean. No need to factory reset, all phone data remains.
1. find and download Odin. It is not commercial software, it is written by some Samsung programmer for inside use, therefore it has no official site. Beware get viruses instead of Odin, look for valid links from some good known forums.
2. It is necessary to download firmware for Thailand for model a505f. It is in archieve, split there one file named "home_csc_xxxxxxxxxx". Official firmwares are accesible for official samsung partners OR through several sites (for other people) who makes money for speed download. Thai firmware shold has the same android version as your phone and have similar production dates.
3. download and install USB drivers for your Samsung phone in your windows pc. from official samsung site.
4. switch off the phone. simulaneoussly press and hold both volume buttons, then connect the cable and then press power button. the phone must show warning about danger writing firmware.
5. Start Odin, select Thailand home_csc file for csc and press Start. Don't use other thailand files. the operation works is about 10 seconds.
6. all done. the phone should reboot. visually it has no changes. just start the phone app (it is where dialler buttons), press settings. now it has new line "call recording". set it for automatical recording. then boldbeast records works. without this setting boldbeast will hear nothing.

NFC, Samsung apps, google pay works fine.
