Hi guys,

I used Boldbeast on an older LG phone then Samsung and it worked great.  Got a new LGL164VL phone and the recordings are extremely loud.  So loud I have to run them through audio software to edit them before I can listen to them.  It doesn't seem to make any difference if I turn the call volume down.  BB is set to Record Mode 1, noise suppress and tune audio effects are both turned ON.  Tune Audio Route is set to Group 3.  Record format is WAV, file sampling is AUTO.  This is with a plugged in headset (not Bluetooth)  On my two older phones I did not have this problem at all. 

Any ideas/suggestions to try to fix this?

Obviously the ROM wrongly set the volume when a wired headset is connected.

Without root there is no solution in the world undoubtedly. If you root the phone please try to enable the "Call Settings - Fix Recording Issues - Start Input Stream" option in Boldbeast, maybe it can fix the problem. The option is visible only after root the phone.
