dear community,

I want to hide boldbeast recorder icon , application is purchased and I also rooted the phone . When I run

pm hide com.boldbeast.recorder it remove the icon from screen but when I check in application Force Stop button grayed out and boldbeast does not record any call. Any idea to hide the icon with out stoping the service?

Google asks developers to clearly show their apps so that users can easily identify an app. Android has very complicated internal policies to regulate app behaviors, and the policies may be different from phone to phone. If you hide the app icon, don't know what will happen in a specific phone.
